No resort, please
The congresses usually take place in resorts and hotels with their accompanying amenities and infrastructure. All this is nice, but it has been seen already too many times and lived through over again.
We have decided to break this concept into parts and assemble it again as something completely different.
The Idea
Imagine walking the old Mediterranean town’s alleys instead of hotel hallways.
Imagine that the city library becomes your congress hall and the medieval fortress boasting with sunset views becomes your lecture stage.
Imagine having breakfast in a medieval Mediterranean garden instead of a hotel buffet.
Imagine mingling, having a coffee break or even dancing at the city’s square, instead of the usual hotel lobby…
Sounds magical, right?
About the Program
An innovative MICE project in which a congress is organized within an Old City core that becomes the backdrop of a resort, with its halls, F&B venues, accommodation and hallways.
All parts of the program like workshops, meals, and entertainment are arranged in the old town, set on the fortresses, or in the Medieval Garden, City library, City Hall, the squares of the old Šibenik town core.
Ever since congresses have been identified as a separate industry, these events have been organized within large-scale venues like tourist resorts and (congress) hotels. This was the best and simplest way to cater to such demanding events. However, with time, the events started to look alike, and there was no substantial way to introduce significant changes.
Therefore, a demand for unique locations and settings as well as a creative overall approach in the MICE industry is becoming more and more important. It is becoming necessary for the event not to leave a negative impact on oversaturated destinations as well as to provide its participants with original ways of networking, learning, and feeling the advantages of spending time in more natural surroundings.
