A Journey Through the Mediterranean
As It Once Was

You will be served delicious treats that reflect the story behind this journey:
local tradition, the best of ingredients, and real human touch.
The Idea
During this experiential tour, it will turn out that the old and lost Mediterranean is not lost after all.
We offer you an opportunity to discover the fragments of the old life, tradition and heritage that live on among the hand-built walls, and island bays, bathed in scents of dill, thyme, and basil.
And you will play the main role: the role of an explorer for lost places, lost scents, and even lost time. What a treat for all of your senses!
About the Tour
The group meets in the port of Šibenik, embarks the boat, and starts the journey. In this case, the boat does not represent merely means of transportation – it is actually the home to the whole experience.
The journey is envisioned as a gastronomical exploration. A detailed gastro map is the main tool that our guests prepare and follow during their trip. They will exchange locations, search for locally-grown ingredients, and later take part in the meal’s preparation. All this is assisted by an awarded selected Chef that is with the group the whole time.
They will also be joined by storytellers, artists, and sommeliers as we all travel together through this new prism of the old Mediterranean. The terroir workshop is just one of the trip’s activities, as you will later pair the local wine with the prepared delicacies. We will make stops following the points on our map and pick up food directly from the places where the food is harvested, and where it is caught. You will learn first-hand about these places and about these ingredients.
So, you can expect to meet in person the capers and motar from the island of Kaprije, say hello to the homemade bread from under the iron bell – peka (an ode to slow food preparation!) and make friends with the cheese from the local farms and some really feel-good wine sorts of this region.
Eat the destination
We give you the opportunity to “eat the destination”
The scents, aromas and senses are your mental entry to the destination you will never forget.
The whole process is following zero-waste philosophy. The food remains are returned to the sea, the empty shells are used to make candles. The textile napkins are scented with lavender hydrolat and replace paper towels, and glass bottles replace the plastic.
All this happens while you are surrounded by the sea, fortresses, and islands of the Šibenik archipelago. What a setting for your eyes, while your mind is nourished by numerous sensations of the Mediterranean as it once was.
